Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made from CoinGems through our online store. By placing an order, you agree to the following conditions.
1. Product Availability & New Release Delays
Many products listed on CoinGems are sourced from authorised Australian and international distributors.
For new releases, delays may occur due to:
- supplier backlogs
- allocation shortages
- dealer distribution delays
- slower-than-expected shipment arrival
If your order is delayed, we will notify you with an updated ETA.
If we cannot supply the item within 60 days of the expected release date, you may choose:
- to continue waiting, or
- to receive a full refund.
2. Order Acceptance & Payment
Your order is confirmed only once payment has been received.
Unpaid orders may be cancelled after 48 hours, unless prior arrangements are made.
We reserve the right to cancel any order that we believe to be:
- fraudulent
- unpaid within the timeframe
- impossible to fulfil due to lack of stock
- made in error (including pricing or listing mistakes)
If an order is cancelled by us for reasons not caused by you, a full refund will be provided.
3. Returns, Refunds & Change of Mind
We follow Australian Consumer Law for faulty or defective items.
If your item arrives damaged, incorrectly supplied, or defective:
You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue.
Change of Mind Returns
Change-of-mind returns are accepted under these conditions:
- Item must be returned mint-sealed, untampered, and in original condition
- Buyer pays return shipping (tracked & insured)
- Refund will exclude:
- original postage cost
- payment processing fees (PayPal, Afterpay, etc.)
- Bullion items or items affected by spot price changes are not eligible
Items damaged after delivery, opened packaging, or worn capsules cannot be returned unless faulty.
4. Afterpay, PayPal & Other Fees
If you cancel an order or return an item due to change of mind:
- Payment processing fees are not refundable, as they are retained by the provider
- Refunds will be issued minus these fees and shipping
5. Shipping
We ship using secure tracked delivery.
- Orders above $450 free delivery
- Orders above $500 require signature on delivery and Mobile Number of Customer.
- Orders above $500 are insured as per our policy
Once dispatched, delivery times depend on Australia Post or courier services.
Delays caused by carriers are outside our control.
6. Lost, Damaged or Missing Parcels
If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit:
- We will lodge an investigation with the carrier
- Replacements/refunds will occur once the carrier confirms the outcome
We cannot reimburse items marked as delivered unless Australia Post completes an investigation supporting a claim.
7. Errors & Omissions
We strive for accuracy in product descriptions and images.
Occasionally, products may vary slightly due to minting or packaging differences.
We reserve the right to correct errors or cancel affected orders.
