The Australian Lunar Series III celebrates the twelve animals of the Chinese lunar zodiac, a system deeply rooted in ancient culture, mythology, and symbolism.

Each coin features an original reverse design celebrating its respective Lunar zodiac animal:
🐭 2020 Mouse
Two mice foraging among corn husks symbolising abundance and prosperity.
🐂 2021 Ox
A powerful Ox design representing resilience and strength.
🐅 2022 Tiger
A tiger cub following its proud and protective parent across rocky terrain.
🐇 2023 Rabbit
Two rabbits in a peaceful natural setting beside a budding branch.
🐉 2024 Dragon
A majestic dragon surrounded by stylised waves and swirling fog, featuring the special ‘P125’ anniversary mintmark.
🐍 2025 Snake
A coiled snake resting beneath hanging leaves with intricate detailing.

A mare and foal galloping across scenic grasslands beneath towering mountains.
