🎨 Design Description

Inspired by rectangular specimen displays, the coin features a realistic, life-size Mānuka beetle rendered in high relief and enhanced with iridescent colour.

The beetle’s vibrant treatment contrasts against the mirrored Proof background. Beneath the design appear its common name and scientific name, Pyronota festiva.
