🎨 Design Description
The coin's reverse portrays Black Panther advancing in a powerful, forward-moving pose.
His sleek black suit features purple and violet highlights that emphasise its contours, while geometric and tribal-inspired patterns evoke Wakanda’s futuristic aesthetic. The distinctive panther-tooth necklace completes the character's appearance.
Jagged rock formations provide a dramatic background. The design also includes the inscriptions “Black Panther” and “60 Years”, Marvel copyright branding and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
The coin is housed in an illustrated card with a circular window allowing both sides of the coin to be viewed.
An official Australia Post stamp, postmarked for the first day of issue, accompanies the coin as part of the commemorative cover.
