🎨 Design Description

The coloured reverse portrays an adult emu running across the Australian outback beneath a cloudy sky rendered in captivating blue and violet hues.

A rural shed and windmill appear among low grasses and rocky terrain, creating a distinctly Australian setting.

The reverse also features the inscription “AUSTRALIAN EMU”, together with the coin’s weight, purity, 2026 year-date and The Perth Mint’s traditional “P” mintmark.

The obverse features the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III and the Australian $1 denomination.
