📖 Story / Theme – The Australian Kookaburra

The kookaburra is one of Australia’s most recognisable native birds and a beloved symbol of the nation’s wildlife heritage.

Known for its unmistakable laughter-like call, the kookaburra is commonly seen perched high among branches scanning for prey across the Australian bush. Although part of the kingfisher family, it rarely eats fish, instead feeding on insects, reptiles, and small mammals.
