The coloured reverse portrays the iconic Top Gun logo at its centre. A fighter jet pointing north appears above the logo, while the inscription “40 YEARS” is positioned below.
A dramatic blue and red cloudy sky fills the background, accompanied by the famous inscription “I FEEL THE NEED…THE NEED FOR SPEED” and The Perth Mint’s traditional “P” mintmark.
The obverse bears the Jody Clark effigy of His Majesty King Charles III together with the coin’s weight, fineness, monetary denomination and 2026 year-date.
