Struck from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver, this officially licensed collectible is shaped like the iconic Top Gun logo itself. The distinctive format, selective colour and anniversary inscriptions commemorate 40 years since Top Gun first soared into theatres in 1986. Maximum mintage is limited to just 2,500 coins worldwide.

🎨 Design Description

The coin takes its distinctive shape directly from the iconic Top Gun logo.

Its coloured reverse displays the bold Top Gun emblem, with the inscriptions “1986*2026” positioned to the left beneath the logo and “40 YEARS” to the right. The Perth Mint’s traditional “P” mintmark also appears in the design.

The obverse bears the Jody Clark effigy of His Majesty King Charles III together with the coin’s weight, fineness, $1 denomination and 2026 year-date. Wing patterns derived from the Top Gun logo appear on both sides of the King’s effigy.

The product sheet imagery on page 1 shows the shaped coin housed in a clear display case and accompanied by dedicated Top Gun 40th anniversary outer packaging.
