Celebrate four decades of one of cinema’s most recognisable aviation films with the 2026 Perth Mint Top Gun 40th Anniversary 1g Gold Rectangle Coin.
Struck from 1g of 99.99% pure gold, this officially licensed rectangular coin commemorates 40 years since Top Gun first reached theatres in 1986. Limited to a maximum mintage of 5,000, it features the iconic Top Gun logo and is presented in specially designed themed packaging.

🎨 Design Description

The reverse portrays the iconic Top Gun logo at the centre, with the inscription “40 YEARS” positioned below. A cloudy sky forms the background of the rectangular design.

The obverse bears the Jody Clark effigy of His Majesty King Charles III together with the coin’s weight, fineness, $3 monetary denomination and 2026 year-date.

As shown in the product information sheet, the coin is housed in a paper card designed to allow it to pop in and out easily. The card is enclosed within a specially designed paper sleeve, with the official Top Gun logo appearing on both.
