🎨 Design Description

The reverse celebrates the flora and fauna of Australia’s iconic rainforests with detailed representations of a flying fox, possum, tree snake, kingfisher, crocodile, butterfly, tree frog, cassowary, orb-weaving spider and other birds.

Native Australian flora fills the surrounding composition, together with Perth Mint’s “P” mintmark, the coin’s weight, purity and 2026 year-date.

At the centre is an Australia-shaped insert crafted from natural green chrysoprase. Because each insert is made from natural stone, colour and pattern variations mean individual coins may display unique characteristics.

The obverse portrays the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III together with the $100 monetary denomination.
