🎨 Design Description

Designed by Jennifer McKenna, the reverse presents a richly detailed scene of outback Australia.

A dingo howls from a rocky perch while a crocodile raises its head from the water. Two kangaroos pause at the riverbed, and a frilled-neck lizard rests on a nearby rock.

Above the landscape, a powerful wedge-tailed eagle soars with four companions in formation, while emus stride across the distant mountainous terrain.

Selective colour brings Australian native flora to life in the foreground, including Sturt’s Desert Peas and poached egg daisies. Further coloured elements include the horizon and frilled-neck lizard. The reverse also features The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark and the 2026 year-date.
