🎨 Design Description

The reverse, designed by Natasha Muhl, depicts a mature goat, a young goat and a baby goat grazing peacefully.

Together, the three animals embody the auspicious phrase “Three Goats Bring Bliss”, representing the end of winter, arrival of spring, renewal and prosperous new beginnings.

A plum blossom tree symbolises purity, resilience and hope. The design also incorporates the Chinese character for ‘Goat’, the inscription ‘GOAT 2027’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.

The obverse features Dan Thorne’s effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, accompanied by the coin’s weight, fineness and monetary denomination.
