2027 Perth Mint Lunar Series III Goat Silver Proof Three Coin Set
Australian Lunar Series III | 2oz + 1oz + 1/2oz Silver Proof | 3.5oz Total | 99.99% Pure Silver | Issue Limit 1,000 Sets
Celebrate the 2027 Chinese Lunar Year of the Goat with this beautifully crafted three-coin Proof set from The Perth Mint’s Australian Lunar Series III.
The collection brings together 2oz, 1oz and 1/2oz coins, providing a combined 3.5oz of 99.99% pure silver. Each coin features the same symbolic portrayal of three generations of goats alongside a plum blossom tree, representing renewal, resilience, hope and prosperous new beginnings.
The Perth Mint specifies an issue limit of only 1,000 sets, making this a highly limited way to collect three different sizes of the 2027 Year of the Goat Proof design together.
🎨 Design Description
The reverse of each coin, designed by Natasha Muhl, depicts a mature goat, a young goat and a baby goat grazing peacefully.
The composition embodies the auspicious phrase “Three Goats Bring Bliss”, symbolising the end of winter, arrival of spring, renewal of all things and prosperous new beginnings.
A plum blossom tree represents purity, resilience and hope. The design also incorporates the Chinese character for ‘Goat’, the inscription ‘GOAT 2027’ and The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.
The obverse of each coin bears Dan Thorne’s effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, together with the respective coin’s weight, fineness and monetary denomination.
