🎨 Design Description

2026 Perth Mint Australia Sovereign – The reverse depicts a contemporary interpretation of St George as a mounted warrior brandishing a sword above a dragon. The design includes “AUSTRALIA”, the 2026 year-date, Perth Mint “P” mintmark and Queen Elizabeth II Centenary “100” privy mark. The obverse features the Dan Thorne effigy of King Charles III.

2027 Royal Mint The Sovereign – The reverse features Benedetto Pistrucci’s historic portrayal of St George and the Dragon, enhanced by the highly refined surfaces of the Proof strike. The obverse carries the official King Charles III portrait by Martin Jennings.
